Kiril Manasiev

Kiril was born in 1967 in Petrich, Bulgaria. He attended a special Fine Arts Academy in Sofia and Southwest University “Neophit Rilski” in Blagoevgrad, where he specialized in oil painting and received a Masters degree. Since 1987, he has exhibited regularly throughout Bulgaria, Great Britain, Australia, Austria, Macedonia, France and Spain, Portugal and USA.

Kiril has been the recipient of numerous awards and recognition for his artistic talent. In 1996, he received a Descartes medal from the city of Descartes, France and first prize at the Salon des Arts Descartes, France in 2003. He is also the recipient of the grand prize at the 9eme Biennale des Arts Plastiques ( Marennes, France), as well as an award from l’Atelier d’Art du Chateau and a Certificate for Achievement, in the Arts from the City of Bressuire, France (2002). In 2003, he won a prize from the Academie Internationale de Lutece at the 16eme Salon de Saint Luc and award for Extraordinary Achievements in Contemporary Art from the Salon Artistique of  Descartes, France. He received a medal and first prize from the 6th International Salon des art Nant, France 2003 and first prize at the Salon de la Rochelle, France 2005-2006-2008-2009-2010-2011.

Kiril Manasiev participated in the International art competition in the Republic of Macedonia and won first prize - fine art et Saint Jean d’Angely, France 2012.

He is a member of the Group of Artists in Saint Jean d’Angely, France and he exhibited in Paris and other parts of France. He is also a member of the Group of the Artists “Macedonia art” in Blagoevgrad.
